Tenerife has many museums on the island. A wide range of cultural activities that show the history of the island and its special features. Other museums are converted into windows to culture.
 
The Guanche culture is reflected in the Museum of Man and Nature: Archeology, Natural Sciences and bioanthropology. There people can enjoy temporary exhibitions and the gea, flora and fauna of the macaronesian archipelagos: Azores, Madeira, Savages Islands, Cape Verde and specially of the Canary Islands. We must stress their impressive collection of Guanche mommies.
 
If you’re looking for information of the island, the Museum of History of Tenerife offers you an overview of the institutional, socio-economic and cultural development of Tenerife. The museum is located in La Laguna.
 
The astronomical observation is another feature of the Canary Islands. In San Cristobal de la Laguna is the Museum of Science and Cosmos. The museum reference of the islands and one of the most important in Spain. The visitor can participate and experiment in this museum.
